I have done a number e.max implant abutment-crowns and they are working very well.  I use them in the posterior region when the implant alignment provides a screw access retention option.  A Sirona TiBase is seated and then scanned.  The CEREC 4.0 scan and mill algorithms are precise enough to generate a tight/snug fit.  TiBase anti-rotational factors are increased with additional preparation to the TiBaseRead more

Completed this CEREC LAVA Ultimate onlay/inlay case this afternoon.  Tooth 30 had cracked tooth symptom and major cold sensitivity.  Horizontal/stained fracture lines at prep axial/pulpal floor distal buccal and lingual cusps.  With a solid rim of 1.0-1.5 mm of enamel for retentive bond, Lava adhesively bonded restorations will recapture function requirements for this case.  Interesting enough, patient was ecstatic about cold symptoms completely gone afterRead more
