The most important aspect of the software process is establishing the desired vertical and jaw position in the mouth and not opening on a hinge articulator. Over the years of practice, I have used many oral appliances for retention, grinding issues, TMD diagnosis and relief, and setting up a clients' case for vertical dimension increase. This video is about my favored removable appliance when the treatment aim is to increase the restorative vertical dimension. This appliance is generated with the MC XL or Primemill milling. It has been one of the most streamlined appliances I have used due to the Primescan digital bite registration accuracy.
