CEREC dentistry should be the ultimate adjunctive tool for conservative and full crown restorative dentistry. I have found that in order to make the CEREC experience happen well, it is more about how we prepare the oral theater for the ceramic restoration(s) and placement protocol that will streamlines the process.

Incredible experience at CEREC 27 and a Half. Introduction of the Omnicam ColorStreaming camera. This advancement in 3D digital dental impressions is history making. Dr. Klim has been a beta tester for the Omnicam and spoke at CEREC 27 about the aesthetic applications using CEREC 4.0 and Omnicam.Read more

Pre-existing crowns had micro leakage and odor with floss, in addition, patient did not like them and was experiencing phonetic and protrusive interference. Good enough reason to upgrade. Used e.max HT A1, cemented with Surpass adhesive system and Variolink Veneer 50% mix of +2 and +3. I have found this Variolink Veneer combo ideal for maintaining e.max value characteristics once cemented.Read more

The steps for CEREC 4.0 virtual design is the same for the Omnicam virtual model as the CEREC AC Bluecam model. However, the colored virtual die doe add more flavor to the process.
