Pre-existing crowns had micro leakage and odor with floss, in addition, patient did not like them and was experiencing phonetic and protrusive interference. Good enough reason to upgrade. Used e.max HT A1, cemented with Surpass adhesive system and Variolink Veneer 50% mix of +2 and +3. I have found this Variolink Veneer combo ideal for maintaining e.max value characteristics once cemented.Read more

The steps for CEREC 4.0 virtual design is the same for the Omnicam virtual model as the CEREC AC Bluecam model. However, the colored virtual die doe add more flavor to the process.

Sirona introduces a new historical camera to digital dentistry. The Omnicam is colorstreaming, similar to an intraoral camera and used in a similar way, except 3D. The camera size and ergonomics parallels a hand piece, facilitating easy access to the posterior segments of the mouth. And, no reflective medium is required.
